A very basic introduction

Classes taught by an official member of the I.K.G.A. and is a registered School/Club . We are also affiliated to the USA-NKF (USA National Karate Federation) a Member of the US Olympic Committee.

We are committed to providing the finest quality of authentic karate training with the following priorities in mind:

  • To preserve the integrity of Goju-ryu Karate-do as a Japanese tradition without compromising its form for commercial profit.
  • To help improve the quality of our students' lives by developing confidence, focus and drive that will benefit them and their families throughout their lives.

Roanoke Dojo is our current location. It is open to the public as well as the Preparatory School.
Sensei Eugene Kitney is not only the instructor of the Dojo, but also the senior pastor of the church that hosts the club...
Rules of Conduct although every effort is made to ensure the safety of every participant, accident still do happen. To minimize the risk there are set rules and guidlines here to help you.
